Join Follow That Dream Sailing on an international sailing adventure out of Sicily, Portorosa on October 07, 2023, and returning to Portorosa on October 14, 2023.

Sicily is considered a classical crossroads of Mediterranean culture. The city is an exquisite beauty with Norman churches, Greek temples and Baroque infrastructure forming it. Sicily is also rich in natural resources – on this island, you will find Mt. Etna, Europe’s highest active volcano. If Sicily’s classical heritage is not enough to captivate you, this island is also an artistic architecture of its own. A short stroll around Palermo you will see Arab domes and arches, Byzantine mosaics and Norman palace walls. To see Baroque architectural masterpieces, you only need to circle southeast Sicily. Throughout the island, you’ll stumble upon vast evocative remnants of Arab and Norman castles. And, this is just one of the reasons why Sicily remains as one of the most captivating places in the world.
We will set sail on a luxury catamaran, a Lagoon 40, with 4 cabins and 4 heads. This yacht has a full galley (kitchen) and spacious room to relax and enjoy the sights of Sicily.

The price for the Mediterranean adventure is $1,885 per person. We will take 4-6 people, in addition to your USCG Captain (Bud Brasier) and Chef/First-Mate (Miriam Zoole).

Sicily is often associated with the movie “The Godfather”, but we are dedicated to helping you see this wonderful island beyond the classic movie. If you have already been in other parts of Italy, you will definitely understand that Sicily is a unique experience. We are very excited to embark on our Sicily sailing itinerary with you and explore many majestic architectural buildings and catacombs as well as breath-taking landscapes.

We will set sail from Portorosa and explore the full chain of Aeolian islands. The cruising grounds blend chic ports of call such as Panarea Island, with the quiet ambience of islands off the tourist track such as Salina. We will explore the imposing volcanoes, abundant castles and historic waterfront villages.
